Such a great diner! They've got great food and huge portions.... and the sweetest waitresses!! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'm a super crispy bacon sort of person and their bacon is too thick to get to the point that I prefer. I should just stop ordering it to be honest. But everything else is great!!!
Have been here several times, usually for breakfast this time it was supper and we left disappointed. We love their breakfasts but supper was less. The fish was fishy and I couldn't eat it. The carrots and broccoli were raw, not cooked but still crisp. They were raw! Everything was just barely passable. The server did take the fish away and offer another piece of a different meal. I had a cup of soup instead so I would be done the same time as everyone else. So come for breakfast and go somewhere else for supper.
Great little diner. Food is really good. Service was good and friendly. UPDATE: There is another diner at the Washington Parkway. It's a bigger building with same great service and great food. It was disturbing to me to see workers smoking pot on they're smoke break by the dumpster.
You like to go here for breakfast. I'm sure it's decent for lunch as well but it's just our go-to place for breakfast or brunch. It shouldn't sound like a complaint but it sort of is; the portions are huge! I always eat too much but I guess that's part of the fun. The menu is fairly small traditional and simple but it's very good food.
This place is pretty good. They are always super busy but we've never had to wait more than a few minutes. The pancakes are super good, and the scrambowl is delicious. The best place to eat breakfast in St George is Bear Claw Cafe on 75n Main St, but expect a 1-2 hour wait on the weekend. Black Bear Diner is a solid plan B.
