It opens at 7am. I suggest getting here before 8am or you will be waiting in line. The food was very good. I had the country fried steak and it was by far the best Ive had. Very tender and tasty. My wife had the Greek omelet and she said it was great as well. The portions are very large. I would come back here again for sure.
If you are in St. George and looking for good breakfast food, Bear Paw is a perfect choice. This place gets pretty crowded and I believe your whole must be present to be seated. Service is just okay. There are a lot of options so anyone without a restricted diet should be able to find something they enjoy. I've had the waffles, french toast, and omletts and prefer the waffles with hash browns. The home fries are good but I like the traditional flavor of hash browns.
Pretty good. My hubby ordered the three eggs but only two arrived. I ordered hash browns extra crispy and so did he. His were, mine were not, just white. Customer service pretty good but kinda weird when server is bringing hubby Dr pepper on the way she lifts it and starts to smell it. Not sure what that is about. But food was tasty.
the only reason I am not giving a 1 star is because the food was OK. Upon walking into the restaurant we were stared at by literally everyone in the place that alone made it awkward. we got seated right in the middle of the restaurant...which normally would be fine seeing as there isnt much seating in this place and you would expect being the center of attention youd be noticed. That was not the case. Luckily the hostess gave us menus otherwise it would have been 20+ minutes before we even got those. The first 20 minutes we sat there and nobody said a word to us. Didnt even look at us. Finally someone said Ill Be right with you. Waited another 5-10 minutes before they came and got our DRINK orders. When they got there to take our drink order they said waters are already on the way. Does anyone want any other drinks besides water? So were assuming at least our drinks are coming. We were already ready to order food at the same time so we gave our drink and food orders. Wait another 15 minutes and our water finally came. The restaurant was NOT busy at this time but looking at all of the employees youd think they each had 12 tables with 5+ people on each table. Only 2 tables out of the 10 total tables had 3+ On them. All of employees were acting like they had no idea what was going on. When our food came out it was fine. Nothing to rave about. One of our items was forgotten and got brought out to us after we were basically done eating so we asked to have that taken off because we werent gonna pay for it. I think that upset them because I looked up and saw our waiter and another employee talking and looking at us. Which I can only assume was that they were talking about us. I work in a very very fast paced restaurant and know how you are supposed to treat guests. This was unacceptable. This is the second time weve been here and the first time we had almost the exact same experience...we wanted to give it a second chance. But this will definitely be the last.
Busy place but worth the wait. Amazing breakfast and lunch options as well as specialty coffees. You will have a hard time narrowing down your options to order because everything sounds good (and it is!)
