The food was great, hot, fresh and tasty! The service however had a lot to be desired. We had a party of 7. We ordered guacamole and chips, but it did not come until the end of the meal after multiple requests. I was never offered a refill for my drink and one of our combination plates came out entirely wrong and had to be sent back to the kitchen, which left one of our starving children waiting to eat. The manager was very kind and helped get our order fixed quickly. He also offered us a $20 gift card for another time as compensation for the mix up. Thoughtful, but we told him we were from out of town and we wouldn't have a chance to use a gift card. He told us he would apply the discount to our current meal instead. When the checks arrived we each had a slightly over a dollar "senior" discount. We spoke to the manager again. The bills arrived for the second time and we had been given $10 off of each of the two checks. We were very grateful! The waiter at this time drops them on the table and doesn't come back. We end up having to take the bills to the front counter to pay and they weren't happy that we didn't wait at the table. There were a few more things that happened, but that is all I have time to write about.So, great food but lack luster service by the waiter.
This place was amazing!!! Being from out of town, my family was searching for a great Mexican restaurant. We went to 4 different places and walked out before we agreed on the green iguana. This is the first time my family of 15 adults absolutely loved the service and the food of any restaurant. Bravo!! The manager and our server were so personable and friendly, thanks for making this a great night!
5 of us went out for lunch. The food was ok and the Margaritas were yummy. My husband ordered tacos and I had a burrito. The bill came to $44. WOW Expensive lunch. I left the server a $10 tip. (Which was adequate for a $44 bill Now we have a $54 lunch. After I got home, I read my receipt. NO WONDER! They automatically added in the tip. Who would have thought! So we ended up paying a $17 tip. I guess it's my fault for not reading the receipt, but I don't believe in a place that automatically adds the tip. Very disheartening. Won't be back
THE BEST white sauce chimichanga I have ever had in my entire life. Service was amazing and the prices were decent. Will definitely return when in the area again!
First time I have been to this place in St George. I normally go to another place but this is going to be my new hangout. The food was excellent and good priced. The wait staff was even better. Very attentive to our needs and made sure that everything was perfect for us.
