As I attempted to enter our room, I found that the key was not working. Still not knowing anything was wrong, I approached the front desk to request that my keys be reset. It was then that I realized that CK, the general manager had requested we were LOCKED OUT OF OUR ROOM until I contacted him. Seriously?!!! The receptionist had strict instruction NOT to let me in my room. She called this CK (the supposed general manager) and he proceeded to make accusations that I had lied to the Comfort Inn on riverside to gain access to the pool and now they were going to have to call the police to figure this whole thing out. I informed him that HIS staff had given me the address to go and the other Hotel had willingly allowed us to swim and that he needed to open my room immediately because he had no right to lock me out of my room for going swimming? I honestly could not believe how unprofessional, rude, accusatory and out of line this CK, general manager was to me. As my family and I stood wet and cold in the hallway he was denying us the right to our room and belongings while he said he had to figured this out??!!! I had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. He had NO right to lock me out of our room. After persistent arguing I hung up the phone on him and demanded the front desk let me in my room. The poor girl at the front desk continually apologized for how RUDELY I had been treated. I have never in all my life had someone in a position of authority act so immaturely, inappropriately and disrespectfully to me. Not once was was I given an ounce of respect by him and instead of dealing with the issue internally (which was the issue) he locked me and my family out of our room. FINALLY, after gaining access, we packed our stuff and left a night early so we did not have to deal with getting locked out of our room again. This GM should be fired for his behavior. I would encourage anyone who is considering this Hotel to reconsider and go somewhere that has a bit more class. This is a run down hotel, pool has mold growing all over the walls and the management is ridiculous and RUDE! Breakfast buffet was the only reason I would even give it a 1 star.....and thats being generous. I have never written a negative review in my life, but I will not let this one go. I demand a refund for 3 night stay ( oh, unfortunately we had to leave early so we didn't get locked out again) CK.... I hope you read this and feel ashamed.
This was a really great hotel to stay at. Room was spectacular and very clean, breakfast was great, and location of the hotel is convenient next to many big chain shops and restaurants. Will stay here again if I am ever in the area.
We've stayed here for a few days twice. Best hotel experience we've had! Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast attendant even remembered what my favorite breakfast was (I had told her a couple days before). What a great breakfast spread! The maintenance guy got us some shipping boxes we needed, the manager was very nice. The girl at the desk (I think her name is Passely- not sure of spelling), she was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place!
This was a great hotel. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. They even made a special breakfast at 3am before we left to the Marathon. The staff was AMAZING! After finishing the St. George Marathon we hurried back to try and shower before driving 5 hours home. We barely missed checkout. But after the manager saw how cold (it rained the whole race) and miserable we were, he let us go take a quick shower and the cleaning staff cleaned our room last. I could not get over how accommodating they were. 5 stars for incredible customer service!
Staff was great here and helpful for suggestions on where to eat nearby and about our amenities. Our breakfast selections will keep us coming back. The room was clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze. They made us feel at home
