I had a dripping faucet which I asked A-1 to fix. They tore out my faucets and spout and ended up billing me $670.67 which they generously reduced by $300.00 so that I had to pay only $370.67. It took them two weeks to find a set that would fit my sink as this is a Parade of Homes home with expensive plumbing. I later found out that the manufacturer has a replacement drop-in valve that sells for under $15.00. I consider the treatment I received criminal. One of the worst mistakes we've ever made was to have A-1's plumber come out and replace our shower knobs. He used the cheapest knobs I've ever seen, didn't give us any say because it was under our home warranty. (They don't match any of our faucets, fixtures, etc.) Within a month, two of the 3 broke. When we called them it'd been over 30 days and we were informed they only warranty their work for 30 days. So we're stuck with a knob that if we're lucky we get more than a trickle to fill our kids' tub (and once we get water to come out its almost impossible to keep it from dripping after) and another that the knob broke off and we have a tiny stick to try to adjust water pressure and temperature. If you want to throw your time and money down the toilet and you love inconvenience and hassle then this is the plumber you want to call! One star because I can't give 0 stars.

Had a line scoped. We called because pricing seemed fair. Once he was done plumber charged more because he had too scope two lines. Would of been nice to know before he did it. Then he said he couldnt help us because the problem belonged to the city. We called and apparently they have been telling people this to get there money quickly and not fix the problem. The city has been very helpful on letting us know what they are allowed to do and not do. We wont be calling a1 ever again. We have a much bigger problem now. And its not okay to be doing this to people.
