We have had Metcalf Mortuary service our families needs for two funerals in the last two years. Their staff was incredibly personal, respectful, helpful, and professional. Funerals are an extremely personal and private time and it's a relief to have someone that has a servant heart help the family in need and not exploit the situation like others do. Top notch organization.

I made an appointment 3 days prior to meeting with a director. We arrived and waited 30 minutes. The secretary put paperwork on the table and told us our director was in the ICU and therefore we had to wait. When he arrived he started on cost and explained without a certain form for military service we will incur a $75 charge for the flag. He then passed on the duty of obtaining the paperwork (we switched mortuaries and they handle all of that). He then asked if we wanted to see the deceased again. His hair was not even combed and still looked disheveled. He was not in a position to be viewed. We ended up having him transferred to another mortuary and metcalf sent the charges to them. We were charges for the 25 minutes we had a funeral director. And we were also charged for viewing the deceased who wasnt even presentable. I am outraged that the mortuary would have the balls to charge someone for their services when we as a family went and picked out our own urn and did paperwork without them. He showed up and we pretty much had everything done. I will never use their services again and warn others to do their research before choosing this place. Also the outside is beautiful but the inside is outdated 20 Years and looks awful.

Wonderful and caring from the start. Arrived promptly and took my father out of the Veterans Home draped in an American flag cover. Dustin was very respectful and kind, explained the process and details of our options. He made himself available to us any time we had any questions or concerns... He was at the church early and for the entire service and Knights of Columbus and Military Honors, making sure everything went smoothly. He went above and beyond for our family and did a wonderful job for the viewing. We are truly grateful for his professionalism and care of our family during this terrible time.Sincerely, the Kincaid .Family
