Hughes Mortuary handled all of the details for my father's passing with the greatest care and respect. Jimmy came out to the house even before my father passed away and met with all of us. He explained the entire process with great compassion. We were impressed with all of the options that were included with the arrangements. Jimmy inspired confidence in us right away. My father passed away within an hour of our meeting with Jimmy, and Jimmy returned to our house to take dad's body. At one of the most difficult moments of our lives, it was amazingly comforting to have Jimmy there to guide us through the process. He handled all of the details for us, allowing us to grieve and comfort each other. I was most impressed with his compassion and gentleness. He guided us, comforted us, and helped us tailor the services to what best represented our father. Every aspect of the care we (and dad) received was top quality, and it was truly a blessing to have Jimmy and his team involved in this with us. His wife is an angel as well, as her skills in preparing dad's body for the open casket viewing were greatly appreciated.I would give them a million stars and thumbs-up if that were an option. We will recommend Hughes Mortuary to all we know who are going through this difficult life transition. We are confident that they treat all of their valued customers with this same level of compassion, respect, and efficiency.

Hughes is so awesome for the way they handle not only the deceased but the compassionate and professional manner and care they show towards those who love them. They did such a great job on making someone very dear to me look better then he had in I'm sure many years. The services they provided were beautiful and it was obvious they genuinely cared and took pride in their work.
Jim and his staff, his wife Tawny were the best, made us feel like part of the family, took the stress of the loss of dad and lessened it. I highly recommend them to anyone. We shopped around and found others in town were to pricey or didn't have a place in the funeral home for a service. They took great care of us. We LOVE you thank you so much.
