Nice big gym with an incredible variety of equipment. My only complaint is it is always a struggle to find a free-weight bench not in use. I wish The Summit would add at least two our three more benches near the dumbbells downstairs.
I wanted to give 5 stars because I do like the gym but there are way too many members and not enough room. Sometimes I go and cannot find a treadmill or have to wait a very long time for equipment. They are trying to expand for the growth and the gym is very clean and kept up but still hate how busy it gets.
08/14/18 - I attend the mall drive location at 5am, 6 days a week. It's very unclean! The trash is ALWAYS over flowing. Typically 4 out 6 paper towel dispensers are out as well as the cleaning solution used to wipe off the benches. I would never have a thought to use the restroom, I can't imagine how filthy they are. You would think that there would be someone looking out for the facility... I'm paying decent money for a membership each month. Is it so much to ask to have a clean gym to attend every morning?
I cant quit the gym!We moved like 1 mile away from being out of their boundaries (40 miles apparently) and they wont let us cancel our contracts... luckily we are moving up north soon. Seriously the stupidest thing ever. And the guy who signed us on never even mentioned that boundary. He just said pay $49 to cancel.Wont be doing anything with this company ever again. Dont sign a contract with them. Go to a gym that doesnt have one. Overpriced anyways. Their Santa Clara facility was small and crowded. Ive owned 4 gym memberships and Summit was the worst by far.
This gym has the most DISHONEST STAFF! Theyve charged us for 5 months of not being there. I sent proof of residency to them and they claim it only works if sent to a specific person... BUT the staff whom I spoke to assured me that it was perfectly fine and we would no longer be charged. We dont even live in the state of Utah and this is still happening.
