1 star rating for Camping World in St. George , Utah for having the absolutely worst service department ever. Going on over 3 months and 3 trips(100 miles each way) waiting to get 4 yes 4 VERY SIMPLE warranty repairs done on our 2018 Cougar 5th wheel. Their process takes 2-3 weeks just to get warranty repair approved.... and then another several weeks to have it shipped! Then they don't order the right part and ........ yes we are still waiting. We are VERY disappointed in the service we have received and will never recommend them to anyone! BUYER BEWARE!9/22/18 Update.... after being assured by the service manager that our trailer was ready to be picked up we were once again very disappointed that one of the warranty repairs was not completed at all. And, as we were looking things over we discovered that the plastic frame around the window in the door had melted(in the heat) and the glass had slipped down. So now we have another warranty issue to deal with.... Just wondering if it will be another 3 months?????
I was on a 1300 mile trip from northern Idaho to southern California to attend a famity wedding, so I stopped for gas in St George utah and the door of my coach wouldn't open, after several attempts to open the door, to no avail I climbed out the window to fill my coach with fuel while the tank was filling up I called camping world in St George to see if they could help me, they were closing in 15 minutes, but she said if you could hurry in she'll have a tech available to see what could be done, long story short, the tech, the service advisor and the parts person stayed after the normal closing hours and fixed my coach and replaced the door locking mechanisms, which was no easy task, the tech had to climb through the window of my coach with all tool in hand because he had to remove the locking mechanism from inside the coach. Thank you to the fantastic team that assisted me and got me back on the road within an hour. God bless
We were back to buy a second trailer from them because of the experience we had four years ago when we bought our first one. Ken was knowledgeable, informative, willing to show as many trailers we wanted to see. Once we made our decision, the other staff were very professional and helpful. Highly recommend.
The wife and I were in the market for a travel trailer, The website says that they are open at 8am which is technically correct but they don't have any sales staff there until 9am. so you can go walk around the lot but you can't get in and see any of them. We had browsed the different websites looking at various different models and prices and by far this was the lowest priced selection out there. After waiting an hour someone finally came in that could show me some of the trailers that I was interested in looking at. After finding one that I really liked and the price was right we started talking more about the numbers. Much to my displeasure the amount of the trailer and the online price was very false. The reason that the price was lower was because they didn't add in the transportation/freight charges or the prep fees or any of the other fees. By the time you added all of those fees into the mix the trailers were priced well above the others that I had seen. I am a person that likes straight forward pricing and hate being tricked into thinking something. So that was the first strike, The second strike and the final one was when I had purchased my travel trailer from a different dealer the dealer told me that I would either need to re-wire my truck for the new 7 round plug that the trailers use or I could do an adapter as my truck already had the trailer brakes and the older 6-round plug. I called the parts department and explained to them exactly what I needed, I needed an adapter that went from my 6 round truck to the 7 round for the trailer. I drive over there the day I am supposed to pick up my trailer to pick up the adapter and when they showed me what they had set aside and it was the complete opposite of what I wanted, I wasted my time with this company twice and not pleased at all. Don't waste your time.
If your looking to buy a travel trailer or motor home these folks are the best. Adam Robertson was top notch. He spent all day in 110 degree heat with us narrowing down the perfect trailer. There was no pressure and after 4 hrs we finally got the best one to suit our needs. I will not recommend anyone else. THANKS AGAIN....
