I am so grateful for the expertise, and kind, caring care at Dixie Regional Medical Center. I will never forget how incredibly kind and supportive all of the ICU team at Dixie Regional was as my mom was passing away from advanced breast cancer. They are truly outstanding.
I can't say enough wonderful things about my 7-day stay in Dixie Medical Center followed by 7 days in their Stroke Rehab Program! I probably encountered 50-60 individuals during my stay (doctors, therapists, nurses, aides, room cleaners, food service helpers, etc) and EVERY SINGLE ONE was so NICE, professional, and respectful! I was deeply impressed and I've never had such a comfortable hospital experience! I feel blessed that this unexpected stroke event happened near St George because the medical services were outstanding! Thank you to everyone I encountered in my stay!
I couldn't have asked for a better hospital, nursing staff, knowledgeable doctors, oncology, oncology staff.I was diagnosed with lung cancer at the Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. I would have had to stay there for five weeks to go through radiation and chemo therapy. I could not afford to stay there 5 weeks so I ask about the Veterans choice program and if I could be transfered to Dixie Regional Hospital. Reason being I live 25 miles away from Dixie Regional Hospital and almost 300 miles from Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. Within a days time I was approved to go to Dixie Regional Hospital. (Thank you President Trump) that was at the beginning of the year, currently I am in a rehabCare center hoping To go home soon. The people I met at D.R Hospital are some of the kindest I've ever met, if they didn't know about something I would ask about they would find out. I cannot praise the hospital or staff enough. And their cafeteria has some of the best food available especially for a hospital.
I had my appendix removed for $15,000.5/5For real though, in all reality it was an overall uh... decent experience? I went in and we got the screening results after a few hours. I slept overnight at the hospital, got woken up at 6:00AM, had my appendix removed and was back home before noon the same day.The staff knew what they were doing and were friendly. They helped someone like me who usually has a hatred for the medical industry as a whole feel comfortable. So good for them.
This isn't the first time this hospital exceeded expectations. From now on, my family will head into St. George instead of Cedar City for our medical needs! My brother was turned away in a time of need years ago by Cedar to be cared for properly in St. George. Flash forward 15 years...My daughter gets multiple terrible splinters deep under her skin on her toes and Cedar hospital not only sent me away, but implied this would be something i could and should do myself! St. George team came to the rescue! I took her to Dixie regional the next morning and they addressed the situation. I wish i would have just come here first! I'm so thankful for the team who helped my baby girl feel better today! You have no idea how much you mean to me!
